Sweet Plums slow simmered to saucy deliciousness…

Mom always made stewed plums….end of summer, early September.  She would stew beautiful burgundy coloured sweet plums in a saucepan with a little sugar, honey…..simmer away untul nice and thick and saucy.  She would enjoy them with her toast as part of her morning breakfast.  I make these every summer for her.
