Orzo with Peas, Pancetta and Parmesan Cheese

NIGELLA gave me this idea…..

In a saute pan on medium high heat, saute 10 – 15 pieces of thinly sliced pancetta.  Cook until pancetta is crispy and you can easily break it up into smaller bite size pieces. Add minced garlic and shallots, 1 cup of orzo pasta and 1 cup of frozen or fresh peas.  Add two cups of vegetable stock and simmer for 10 minutes.  Add a handful of grated parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.  Done.
